Oahu, Hawaii, highway 38, somewhere along the North Shore, there sits an ordinary white catering truck covered with graffiti and affectionally known as Giovanni's Shrimp Shack. The graffiti comes from the signatures and comments of enthusiastic fans worldwide who sing praises of shrimp. Not just ordinary shrimp. Sumptuous garlic & butter. Delicious lemon & butter. Mouth-numbing spicy & hot. An overhead canopy and picnic tables outside are all the ambiance this place has, but whose looking when you're fixated on the yummy flavors and the sauce dripping from your lips? I get hungry just thinking about it.
