For the uninitiated, that song was sung in one of Walt Disney's movies by a real person walking through a cartoon-drawn meadow. It was quite a progressive cinematic feature in its day, but I was a kid and, heck, what did I know about such things? All I know is the man singing was so happy and had the proverbial blue birds of happiness flying around his head (you know me and birds). And the lucky guy was walking in a cartoon, for heaven's sake!
So, to honor your zippety-do-da, happy-go-lucky kind of day, I'm going to sing the lyrics to you (just pretend). And if you didn't have that kind of day, I sincerely hope you have one tomorrow.
