I have a new dermatologist. She moved here by way of Southern California after spending some time in New England. I asked her what prompted her to move away from the year-round warm weather of SoCal after surviving some fairly harsh winters back east, and her reply was quick and to the point.
"I don't do cosmetic surgery. I like real faces on real people."
I'm not touching that comment. I'll let God's Word do the talking.
For You (Lord God) created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139)
A (woman) of noble character ... is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. (Proverbs 31)
Gray hair is a crown of spendor; it is obtained by a righteous life. (Proverbs 16)
