A Crown of Splendor

I am sooooooooooo thankful for hair dye. Whether it comes from the drug store or a fancy hair salon, I am a big fan of color-in-a-box, permanent or otherwise. Let's face it, women have been coloring their hair since the beginning of time because it makes us feel good. I am absolutely convinced that even Eve did it. After all, if she can mess around with that apple, she was certainly open to changing it up with her hair.

Lord, You tell us not to get caught up in, or to take our self-worth from how we look, but You also know the desires of a woman's heart. Thank You, for understanding the indulgences of feminine needs and for the invention of hair color. Someday, I hope to get past this vanity and see gray hair the way you intended it to be seen.
