Faithfulness

This morning as I sat in my chair, the sun streamed through the window, the sky glowed bright blue and the birdies flew by. Despite the circumstance of man and the turmoil we cause ourselves, God faithfully sends the sun and the sky and the birds as He has done daily in the past and will continue to do in the future. It was so reassuring to know that God was, is and is to be. That He was, is and is to be in control. That He faithfully, lovingly holds my life in His hands.

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You are dependable. You are trustworthy. You endure.

"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22-23)
