Lord, I am thankful and grateful for my freedom to vote in today's presidential election. I am thankful for the peace in knowing that whatever the outcome, You are in control. Help me to keep that perspective if my candidate loses because you have said:
"Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men." (Titus 3:1-2)
