Rain Rain Come Again

We had some rain the other day. We really need it. In fact, we need a lot of good old-fashioned thunder and lightning downpours this season.

Lord, I am thankful for the life-giving rain that falls from your heavens. I am even more thankful for the life-giving water of redemption and salvation through your Son, Christ Jesus.

"Jesus (said), 'If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked Him and He would have given you living water...whoever drinks the water I give (her) will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give (her) will become in (her) a spring of water welling up to eternal life.' " (John 4:10-13)
