Shall We Dance?

thankful thinking day 1

I've decided this month ~ the month in which we celebrate Thanksgiving ~ that I would try to post a daily prayer of thanks. While that sounds easy, some days I'm feeling more grouchy or discontent than thankful. So I want to create a new habit. A habit of thankful thinking.

Lord, thank You for the dancing leaves of autumn. As I was driving today, I was surrounded by swirling leaves that floated through the air and tap danced down the street. It was a joyful sight and made me smile. It made me want to get out of the car and dance along with them. Ah, the joys and gifts of autumn. Thank You, Lord, for the gloriously painted leaves

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hand." (Psalm 19:1)
