My husband and I took the most wonderful hike through Sycamore Grove Park yesterday. The weather was perfect, the sky spectacular and the beauty breath-taking.
As I was walking I thought about people who insist that there is no divine connection to creation; it was simply a matter of physics and chemistry coming together to create biology. Okay. But if that's true, why did it all come together with so much visual beauty? I would think that in the chaos of unguided creation, there would be as much ugly as there is beauty, in fact, maybe even more.
The beauty of nature alone convinces me of the hand of God in its creation.
