I caused quite a stir with this blog's first poster boy for God. Even the poster boy himself wasn't too sure about being a celebrity until he realized he was posing for God. I especially like his comment about his life back in the day ...
"You wouldn't have wanted to know (me) back then. (I) was being stretched like Gumby ~ the world was pulling an arm in one direction and God was hanging on tightly to the other. The outcome? God won!"
Our God is a big god. He loves us so much that He will not let go.
"My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you. (Isaiah 54:10)
Oh, we might get stretched and pulled, refined by the fires of life, but we will come out the other side still hand-in-hand ~ beloved and Maker.
as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. (Isaiah 62:5)
