Yesterday I wrote that the clock isn't counting faceless time; it's counting the minutes of your life. For some, this is a sobering thought. For others, it's frightening. It can be a call to action or freeze us in our tracks. It all depends upon our perspective, which should really have nothing to do with our age. We have no control over how much time we're alloted.
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth. No man has power over the wind to contain it; so no one has power over the day of his death. (Prov 27:1) Ecc 8:8)
Does the thought of your death leave you cold, or do you see it merely as a rite of passage to another place?
