I wonder if trees ever get tired blowing in the wind.
I wonder if their leaves feel like my hair does when I ride in a convertible.
I wonder if trees enjoy the birds in their branches and the squirrels on their limbs.
I wonder if they ever just want to run away for the day and play.
I wonder if trees moan when they are thirsty and flinch when we walk on their roots.
I wonder if they dance with delight when their autumn leaves take flight.
I wonder if trees wonder about the God who made them
just like I wonder, too.
