Road Rage, Patience and Time

There is a particular road in Fremont that I have been driving twice a week which gets me to and from the place I have to be and the freeway that takes me home. People are insane when they drive that road. They jockey position back and forth, in and out, just so they can get on the freeway ahead of the rest of us ~ only to sit still on that overcrowded freeway once they get there.

patience is better than pride (Ecc 7:8))

I drive a small car and I pray that all the big trucks and cars see me. Of course, even if they did, it most likely would not stop them from cutting in front of me. Just this week a car behind me got hit. The noise was loud when the two vehicles collided. I looked into my rear view mirror with horror realizing just how close that accident had been to involving me. It reminded me how we never know when our time may end and just how precious our days are.

Show me, O Lord, my life's end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting is my life. (Psalm 39:4)
