Imagine sitting in the grandstands on an incredibly beautiful day overlooking a vista of mountains, trees and a golf course. Imagine 700 band members in front of you playing a collection of drums and bagpipes. Imagine the Marine band from San Diego playing Swing and getting funky with it. Imagine thousands of crazed fans who came to see the Scottish Games. Imagine one very happy 93 year old woman enjoying it all. That was my Sunday.
Imagine spending the entire day moving rocks and flagstone in various places in my front yard until they are positioned just right. Imagine the sweet sound of a long-awaited water feature. Imagine the placing of a few strategic plants, still in their pots, uncertain if its their perfect place. Imagine a very tired, muscle-aching but very happy me. That was my Monday.
It's good to imagine.
