Tenacity, Diversity and Divine Design

road trip

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love the desert. I love the tenacity of life. I love the diversity of nature. I love God's divine design for our planet. Sounds a little smug and ego-centric to call it "our" planet. It doesn't really belong to us but I'm so grateful that I have been granted some "landing" time here.

I encourage you to get out and experience nature today, even if all you have is a plant in a pot or a weed growing from a crack in the sidewalk. As for me, I'm taking a walk on the sandy soil to marvel, once again, at the adaptibility and beauty of the plants and animals that call the desert their home.
