Now that we have "discovered" DNA (as if it didn't exist before we gave it a name), researchers are telling us that they have scientific evidence that we share a common heritage despite our apparent differences. However, it's a Truth that has been around since the beginning of time.
Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image...so male and female He created them...Now Adam knew Eve his wife and she conceived and... (Genesis 1:26-27, 4:1)
One beginning. One brotherhood (and sisterhood, too). God delights in diversity as is evidenced by His creation; He loves us all the same. Black and white. Tall and short. Smart and dull. Sinner and saved. He goes past the superficial to the matters of the heart.
As a Christ follower, I am challenged daily to aligning my thoughts and attitudes towards others (my universal brothers and sisters) with the heart of Christ.
