I had a delightful day yesterday attending an outdoor art festival. I love it when a city converts its downtown streets to a thoroughfare for people instead of traffic. I love the white tents, the colorful arts and crafts on display, the attendees strolling in and out of the booths, the artists ready with their stories of what they made, and the outside patios of the restaurants overflowing with happy diners. And I love it when the entire scene is bathed in warm sunshine. Time just seems to slow down as worries and responsibilities melt away, and the joy of the moment takes over.
In fact, I think I'm going to end my blog right here and enjoy the memory of it before I write about a special encounter that happened.
