tree saga, part 4 continued

What is it?

My husband is constructing (again) in our ever evolving front yard. The newest structure serves double duty as a privacy screen (or at least the illusion of privacy) between our deck and our neighbor's driveway.

No, it's not a coffin for a dead shovel and those aren't submarine periscopes. It's a birthing shed ~ the intended home for our raised vegetable garden. If we want to, we will be able to reach over from our deck chairs, skewer a pepper and roast it over our fire pit. Add a bottle of wine and we will be good to go! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

And the sweetest part is the new raised bed is constructed with wood from our former deck. Recycling at its best. Mingling old memories with new ones yet to be created.
