Come and Take Our Stuff

Saturday morning. Not a single car has passed by. Not a single person has walked over to peruse our stuff. Talk about ridiculous ~ I find myself asking what's wrong with our stuff that no one wants it? I mean we fell in love with it at one time, isn't our stuff still lovable? Pretty? Desirable? And I'm just talking about stuff.

This is the same kind of head trip we do regarding our very own selves. Why haven't friends called me for lunch? Maybe because it's my turn to call them, or they are really busy right now with life, or they are in a coma. Why didn't I get asked to do such and such for the team? Maybe because the team was already full, or I didn't have the right skills, or I was going to be on vacation anyway.

Yikes. Why do we do this to ourselves?

Oh, excuse me, three cars just pulled up. Gotta go sell my stuff ~ that is if people find it desirable enough. And if they don't, I'll just donate to the local shelter retail shop and they can make the money. Hey, on second thought, maybe I should have just done that to begin with.

Blogmeister's postscript: Wow, that was fun! Made enough money to get a pair of kittens (fully spayed and with all their shots - cats may be free but their vet bills aren't!). Stay tuned.
