Time Marches On

It's the end of June.  The longest day of the year has passed and we are officially into summer.  Kitchen planning is under full steam.  Mom's ankle is on the mend.  The weather is getting hot and  the garden grows.  And so it goes.  The cycle continues.  Different players, different seasons, different situations yet all recognizable as the human experience ~ home, family, health, nature.  Sometimes the events are welcome, sometimes not.  But time marches on, and we with it.

At times I breathe in the present, stopping time in its tracks.  At times I dive into the past and wonder how it could be gone.  My future is getting shorter which makes each day more precious.  Time marches on and I with it.

Only God knows the number of our days.  I will leaving the counting up to Him.  I'm busy marching to the beat of time.
