My house is in an uproar. My kitchen is in remodel mode and my garage is full of kitchen stuff. My son moves home in two days and I am scrambling to transfer my office out of my spare bedroom. With a 1,200 square foot house, space is at a premium so my things will get squirreled away here and there.
It's a bit unsettling having to uproot like this, but it also renews my conviction that we don't need half the stuff we hang on to. So I'm on the war path. It's time once again to purge. The true test will be in a successful resistance to bringing in new stuff to fill up the empty space left by the old. Time will tell ...
