Lessons from the Kitchen
I hit the wall. After visiting more tile stores and picking out new samples, I came home, looked at the choices in relation to their intended destination, shrugged my shoulders and walked away. It's not a good sign when the designer (me) adopts a so-what attitude toward the project (kitchen).
I walked right into the bedroom, slept for an hour, and awoke with renewed enthusiasm toward the kitchen when I realized I had hit the wall because I wasn't feeling well. Yep, being sick made me feel much better about choosing back splash because that meant I was ill not apathetic.
That was yesterday. Today is a new day. It feels like a good day to make a choice. (Get out and vote!)
