Writers and speakers often agonize over the topic of their next article/story/book/blog but today we learned at day 2 of the conference that there are stories littered everywhere for the taking if you just remain Alert To Life.
Jesus remained Alert to Life. He was a great believer in using parables for His speaking ministry. He was alert to the hurts, the hopes, the joys, the trials, the decisions, the mistakes ~ the stuff of life that people dealt with on a daily basis. Although they may have been spoken and written about 2,000 years ago, they remain alive and relevant today for our times. His Words still comfort, teach, rebuke, encourage and love because He relates to us where we are at this very moment in time..
