It's Harvest Wine Festival time. I love the fact that Christ's first miracle was turning water into wine at a wedding feast. He began His ministry with wine and a wedding feast ~ He later shed His blood (symbolized by wine in the rite of communion) at the end of His earthly ministry ~ so when He returns as the heavenly Bridegroom, He will be coming to claim His spotless brides (Believers who have been washed clean by His blood) for a heavenly wedding feast.
Thank you, Lord, for the harvest of wine, for the self-sacrificing act of your Son, and for the unsurpassed beauty of the wedding feast that you have prepared for us/me.
