A Fresh Start

There it is, a clean slate; our yard free of plants,stump and roots. Empty. Void. Nada. Nothing but dirt. A fresh start.

Now the rebuilding begins. Reconstruction. Reinvention. Renewed. Reborn.

It's actually exhilarating.

You should not be surprised at my saying, "You must be born again...Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life....Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!...For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. (John 3:7, 1 Peter 1:3, Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 Peter 1:23)
