Hung Out Not Hung Up

There is more to this Christmas story ~

Jesus doesn't need or seek our approval. That's one of the things I love about Him. He doesn't get hung up about fitting into the world's expectations. He came as a human baby. Born to a poor young virgin. In a stable. And He didn't get bogged down explaining or justifying His paternity.

Jesus knows who He is. He knows why He came to us.

And (Jesus) said to them, "Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?" ~ Luke 2:41-49

He went against the entrenched customs of the day ~ He hung out with the poor, the ordinary, the sinners and the socially unacceptable. He didn't get hung up on political correctness. He came for our hearts. He came for relationship. He came for us.
