I don't know who this cowboy is nor do I know where I got his photo. He has the blond hair and blue eyes of my dad as a little boy, but the face does not quite look like him. Whoever he is, he has an angelic face. He looks so happy on his horse. I wonder how his life turned out. Did he grow up to be the man he thought he would be? Did he live the life he expected to live?
I think I will take artistic liberty and pretend that this really is my dad. And one thing I know for sure ~ this little boy grew up to be a friend to many, a mentor to some and a hero to me.
