I have to ask ~ does your computer screen sometimes go all purple when you pull up my blog instead of my usual background? I can't even read the text when it does that. It reminds me of the little kid's story, Harold and the Purple Crayon. I really had something I wanted to blog about today but the purple background is distracting and annoying so I'll leave my deeper thoughts for another day.
Follow-up later in the day ~ Okay, I ditched my layout and went with a basic blogspot layout for now. When I have the time and feel creative, I will personalize the layout but in the meantime, I think I've solved the purple crayon issue.

Yup, whenever I load this page it turns purple, but quickly turns the colors it supposed. A little odd for sure. Maybe try a new background?
I haven't seen that but sometimes it is slow to load. Make sure your default blog design is that plain white simple one (does that make sense?) I think it's called "Minima" or something like that.
