Wild Adventure

Once we have "met" Jesus, we cannot remained untouched by Him.   We can reject; we can be curious; we can accept;  but we can't ignore.  He meets us where we are and extends an invitation.  If we choose to accept, it means being willing to banish every idol in our life.  It means being willing to follow Him even when He leads us in ways we don't understand.  It means being willing to relinquish our fear of the unknown to grow beyond our current level of discomfort and inconvenience when He says, "Come, follow me..."

To quote a fellow Christ-follower ~ "I don't want to reach the end of my life and say, 'Wow, that was comfortable.'  I want to say, 'Wow, what a ride!' "

Yep, I want the adventure that takes me outside of myself; outside of my often insignificant wants; outside of the box the world wants to place me in.  I want to walk on the wild side with a God who loves me so much that He desires to be my personal companion on the trip of a lifetime ~ a trip that has been planned personally for me by Him, for Him and with Him.

Once you have "met" Jesus, you cannot remained untouched by Him.   You can reject; you can be curious; you can accept;  but you can't ignore Him.
