One month from today is Valentine's Day. Didn't we just finished the Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Year's marathon? Stop the merry-go-round; I want to get off.
I'm reading Stones into Schools by Greg Mortenson. Also read it's prequel, Three Cups of Tea. Recommend both. I love to read. Am thinking of starting a blog just about books and other words. And something I never thought I would do ~ I am thinking of buying one of those electronic book thingys like a Kindle. For someone like me that's a bit of treason as the feel and smell of a book is as important as the words hidden inside. My book loving friends promise me I will love the Kindle equally as much. Hmmmm.
Got my weight and fitness right where I wanted it before the holidays. You know what that means. Yep, I have a little bit extra work to do now that the holidays are gone but have left a few reminders.
Cold. Colder than normal. This snow loving skier is dreaming of the warm beaches of Hawaii.
I have got to start making jewelry again before my creative brain ossifies. Time to pull out the trays, run my hands through the beads and get inspired.
So thankful joy is my word this year. I've called upon it literally every day so far. Sometimes it's hard to find the joy in a circumstance but I'm succeeding so far. I just have to remember in His might, not mine.
