Road Trip ~ Utah or Bust
17 people. 2 houses. 8 ski resorts. A gathering of a diverse group of people who all share a love of putting two sticks on our feet, pointing them downhill and letting gravity pull us to the bottom of the mountain. Even better when there is fresh snow on the ground, lots of it. People who don't ski don't get it, but for the clan (avid skiiers) we share a love and a language of a sport that we find exhilarating, challenging and downright fun.
It is a bit tough, though, when 17 people are trying to decide which of the 8 resorts to ski at on a fresh powder day. That's when it's really helpful to have four or five cars so those who don't want to join the crowd can do their own thing. I've taken lots of great photos but by evening, after a full day of skiing, making dinner for a crowd, listening to everyone's war stories for the day, and laughing at everyone's jokes, I'm too exhausted to post let alone comment.
