Simple Beauty of Friendship

I met last night with a group of women who long ago gave up their business networking function and have since embraced the simple beauty of friendship.  We have let down our proverbial hair, kicked off our high heels, and gotten down to the deeper emotional and intellectual levels of human connection.  In this fast-paced world, with all its distractions, it's good to slow down and be in the moment with these women.  We only meet once a month but the effects linger long after the last words are exchanged.
