Toute Suite on Hootsuite

Road Trip ~ Atlanta continued

Kunaki, Ping, Paper.li,  Hootsuite,  Fivere and the usual suspects Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.  Blog. Blog. Blog.  Website content.  Tweet your twits.  Get in front of a camera and get visual.  Keep your fans informed, your friends in touch and make your virtual presence known now.  And for heaven's sake make sure you regularly check your Klout and Roboform your passwords.

It's not enough to be an accomplished writer or an engaging speaker any more.  At least that's the gist of the conference workshop I attended.  No, you have to be au curant toute suite.  You have to become an active, immediate citizen of the virtual world; being a mere citizen is no longer enough if you want to remain relevant.

Relevant to whom?  Some of the women who attended this conference are highly accomplished speakers, writers and even singers.  They made it before the virtual world took over reality.  Now they're being told that to more effectively reach their audiences they must be virtual and be quick about it.  I wonder if their audiences are all as "wired" as the writers and speakers are supposed to be.

I need a nap.
