I've been wanting a change of scenery and I got it last night at the Art Murmur. It's a multiple block, first-Friday-of-the-month happening with open studios, galleries and street vendors celebrating the arts. We finished our visual feast with an epicurean adventure, enjoying an Ethiopian meal while listening to a really good straight-ahead jazz trio. It was simply divine to step away from my everyday life and mingle with other art lovers. However, next time I'm taking my camera. The crowd was way more interesting than the art.
